Sarajevo Airport at Mostar Fair 2017

Sarajevo International Airport continued to participate at Mostar Fair this year, too. At the conference called "Contemporary transport and communication systems", organized by the Federal Ministry of transport and communications, attendees were addressed by the Airport's director, Mr Armin Kajmaković. He had a presentation about modern systems for passenger baggage ground handling at airports. In that regard, the organisers of the Fair extended special gratitude to the Federation Ministry of Transport and Communications for successful appearances of public corporations and for organising expert panels and conferences.
Sarajevo International Airport is not only the major connection of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the rest of the world but is also becoming a recognizable brand at both local and international scene. Last year there were over 850.000 passengers. The figures from the 1st quarter of the current year indicate that 2017 will be a record breaking year for Sarajevo International Airport.
Sarajevo International Airport is exceptionally important for other branches of economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As tourism is one of industries with a wide range of advantages, the increased number of tourists at Sarajevo International Airport will have positive effects on many other branches in the country.
